President Pitney and campus leaders recognize 2025 °ÅÀÖÊÓƵScholars

President Pat Pitney and campus leaders recognized °ÅÀÖÊÓƵScholars during five in-person
recognition events in November. Students and parents joined faculty, staff, students, and fellow °ÅÀÖÊÓƵScholars for an evening celebrating achievements
and learning about the opportunities available in the University of Alaska system. Nearly 25 percent
of the designated cohort attend an event. A recording of the events will be shared
with all °ÅÀÖÊÓƵScholars at a later date. Each location, which included UAA, °ÅÀÖÊÓƵ, UAS,
Mat-Su College, and Kenai Peninsula College, featured success stories of current students
or alumni.
The °ÅÀÖÊÓƵScholars Program and President Pitney congratulate the °ÅÀÖÊÓƵScholars and thank
the event organizers for the outstanding showcase of opportunities throughout Alaska.
